CONTENTED COWS GIVE BETTER MILK...
AND MORE OF IT

It's a fact. Employees can give you the minimum effort required to do the job or they can give you their best effort. There is a proven correlation between job satisfaction and employee productivity and the data is revealing. The most competitive companies develop leaders who, like good dairy farmers, use methods that produce healthier, contented, and higher-yielding cows. No experienced dairy farmer would risk losing his entire herd to mad cow disease! So if you are interested in improving workforce productivity, don't miss this presentation. Your human capital really is your most important asset and it makes dollars and sense to take care of it.

BLOW THE WHISTLE!

Rules have their purpose and violations of the rules, their consequences. But, if given a choice, most employers would prefer a workforce that voluntarily and consistently complies with the rules – without the carrots of rewards or the consequences of a stick. It is the role of leadership to create a culture in which the rules are consistently followed and strong leadership leads by example. That's why successful leaders are masters at the art and science of “blowing the whistle.” Whether you are a leader who needs to polish up your whistle-blowing skills or a benchwarmer who understands the practice but not the art of whistle blowing, you won't want to miss this presentation.

THE “X FACTOR”

“X” is the universal symbol for “the unknown. ” And determining the value of X is often a difficult proposition – like fighting a war on terrorism without really knowing what a terrorist looks like. The US , a country built by immigrants, once manifested its pride in the diversity of its heritage. But, since 9/11/01, fear of the unknown has served as a justification for building walls, compromising our freedom, and treating others in a way that is characteristically “Un-American. ”This is an entertaining and inspiring presentation that calls upon all Americans to remember the values that separate us from the terrorists and to remember that our greatest enemy will always be that which divides the United States of America.

TO TELL THE TRUTH

Almost every parent has experienced the embarrassment of a young child truthfully repeating an unguarded observation that was not intended for public consumption. Politicians have found themselves similarly embarrassed when an inappropriate comment is publicized over a live microphone thought to have been turned off. When we express one thing publicly and another privately, our integrity is called into question. Yet, our obligation to treat others with dignity and respect seems to demand that we be “ politically correct ” which, in reality, may be just a socially-acceptable form of lying. The fallacy is in believing that our options are limited to blatant truth-telling or bald-faced lying. This is a presentation that will entertain and inform about an approach to communication that is both authentic and diplomatic and will provide you with a viable alternative to telling lies – even those little white ones.
