Keynotes

CONTENTED COWS GIVE BETTER MILK . . .
AND MORE OF IT!

There is a direct and proven correlation between job satisfaction and employee productivity. The most competitive companies, like experienced dairy farmers, use methods that produce healthier, contented, and higher-yielding cows. Your human capital really is your most important asset and it makes dollars and sense to take care of it.

BLOW THE WHISTLE!

Ethical behavior and fair treatment are contingent upon everyone knowing the rules that should be consistently applied in daily business transactions. We all share an obligation to “blow the whistle” whenever the rules are broken. Commitment to fairness is evidenced by the way an organization treats its whistle blowers.

THE “X FACTOR”

“X” is the universal symbol for “the unknown.” The US is a country that was built by immigrants, but we have allowed our fear of the unknown to alienate those who have much to contribute to our culture and our economy. Diversity is a powerful asset only when we learn to accept and include those who are different.

PLAYING BY THE NUMBERS . . .
A FLAWED APPROACH TO DIVERSITY MANAGEMENT!

Diversity management tends to be a numbers-driven approach that treats your human capital more like human inventory to be tracked and reported. But there is a huge difference between improving the numbers and making your workplace a place where all workers, regardless of differences, feel welcome and valued.

TO TELL THE TRUTH

Healthy relationships depend upon authentic communication. But telling the truth in a diplomatic and tactful way is becoming a lost art. When we know the message will not be welcome, we tend to mask the truth by being politically correct or we tell the “unvarnished truth” and let the chips fall where they may. This presentation helps the audience develop a strategy for communicating both authentically and diplomatically.
